When people are wrong, the thing which is right is bound to be wrong to them
[F. Matthias Alexander]

Currently, the Inquiry Page cannot accept new users. If you want to create new inquiry units you are welcome to use the new Community Inquiry Labs developed by Graduate School of Library and Information Science and CITES at University of Illinois. Please be aware that on opening the page you might get a warning about the security certificate.

We plan to maintain the Inquiry Page as a browsable, searchable archive, and current users may still create inquiry units. However we recommend considering using the new Community Inquiry Labs.

There is currently no automatic way to transfer existing inquiry units on the Inquiry Page to the new Community Inquiry Labs. But here are three options:

  • Create a new inquiry unit in Community Inquiry Labs and simply link to the previous unit.
  • Copy and paste the text from the previous unit into the new unit.
  • Copy the html source code into the new unit after disabling rich text. This should preserve the weblinks.
